1. Cortana is a digital, personal assistant capable of adapting to your personality and interests over time.
   Note: An active Microsoft account is required to use Cortana.
   
2. From the Start screen, tap Cortana. Cortana can also be accessed from any screen by tapping the Search icon.
   
3. Tap yes.
   
4. Tap the type your name field, then enter the desired name.
   
5. Tap the Go icon.
   
6. Tap the Play icon to hear Cortana say the given name, then tap sounds good.
   
7. Tap next.
   
8. To use Cortana, tap the ask me anything field and enter the desired search. To initiate a voice search, tap the Microphone icon.
   
9. Tap the Go icon.
   
10. The results are displayed.
