Change volume settings, ringtones, and notification alerts.


INSTRUCTIONS & INFO
  1. Press the Volume keys located on the side of the device to adjust the volume.

  2. Reduce the volume until the Vibrate icon appears to enable Vibrate mode.

  3. When Vibrate mode is active, the Vibrate icon will display in the notification bar.

  4. Reduce the volume until the Silent icon appears to enable Silent mode.

  5. When Silent mode is enabled, the Silent icon will display in the notification bar.

  6. Tap the Settings icon to access additional volume settings.

  7. Adjust settings as desired.

  8. To change the ringtone, from the Settings screen, swipe to the MY DEVICE tab, then tap Sounds and notifications.
    Note: For steps to assign a ringtone to a contact, please see the 'Contacts' tutorial.

  9. Scroll to, then tap Ringtones.

  10. Tap the desired ringtone.

  11. To select a song for your ringtone, tap ADD.

  12. Tap to select the desired song.

  14. To change notification alerts, from the Sounds and notifications screen, tap Vibrations to change the vibration alert pattern.
    Note: To block or unblock notifications from appearing when the device is locked, go to Settings > Under the the MY DEVICE tab, tap Sounds & notifications > Scroll down and tap While locked.

  15. Tap Notification ringtone to change the default notification sound.

  16. To change messaging alerts, scroll to then tap Other sounds.

  17. Scroll to, then tap Messaging.
