1. To lock the screen, press the Screen Lock/Power key.
   
2. To unlock the screen, press the Screen Lock/Power key.
   
3. Touch and drag the Slide up to unlock icon.
   
4. To set a password, from the home screen, tap the Menu icon.

5. Tap the Settings icon.
   
6. Tap Device.
   
7. Tap Security.
   
8. Tap Phone Lock.
   
9. Tap the desired option.
   
10. Enter the security code, then tap OK.
