1. To adjust the volume, press the Volume keys.
   
2. To set the phone to silent, tap the Silent icon.
   
3. To set the phone to vibrate, tap the Vibrate icon.
   
4. When silent mode is on, the Silent icon will be displayed in the Notifications bar.
   
5. When vibrate mode is on, the Vibrate icon will be displayed in the Notifications bar.
   
6. To change the volume settings, from the home screen, tap the Menu icon.
   
7. Tap the Settings icon.
   
8. Tap Sounds.
   
9. Tap the desired option.
   Note: For this demonstration, 'Alert Tone' is selected.
   
10. Tap Volume.
    
11. Press the Volume keys to adjust the volume.
    
12. Tap Set.
    
13. To change alerts, from the Sounds menu, tap Alert Tone.
    
14. Tap Sounds.
    
15. Tap the desired alert to select.
    
16. To adjust the ringtone, from the Sounds menu, tap Ringtone.
    
17. Tap the desired ringtone to select.
