1. From the home screen, tap Contacts.
   
2. To add a contact, tap the Add Contact icon.
   
3. Tap the Storage drop-down to choose the desired location to save the contact.
   
4. Enter the desired name, then tap Next.
   
5. Enter the desired phone number, then tap Next.
   
6. Tap the Phone type drop-down to choose the desired option.
   
7. Tap the Ringtone drop-down to select a ringtone.
   
8. To set a personal image for the contact, tap the Photo icon, then follow the on-screen prompts.
   
9. Make any desired additional changes, then tap Save.
   
10. To delete a contact, touch and hold the desired contact.
    
11. Tap Delete contact.
    
12. Tap Yes.
    
13. To edit the contact, tap Edit contact.
    
14. Make the desired edits, then tap Save.
    
15. To backup contacts using Google, from the home screen swipe down from the Notifications bar > Tap the Settings icon > Tap the General tab > Tap Backup & reset > Enable the Back up my data checkbox.
