1. From the home screen, tap Messages.
   
2. Tap the Menu icon.
   
3. Tap Settings.
   
4. Tap Text messages.
   
5. To view the Message center number, tap Message center.
   
6. To change notifications, tap Notifications > Notifications sound > Select the desired notification sound > OK.
   
7. To change message display style, tap Display > Bubble style > Select the desired Bubble style > SAVE.
   
8. To set up, or change emergency alerts, tap Emergency alerts > Emergency alerts > Tap the desired emergency alerts.
   
9. To restore default settings, tap the Menu icon > Restore default settings. > OK.
