Contacts

Add, view, delete, and customize contacts by adding a picture or ringtone.

INSTRUCTIONS & INFO
  1. To add a contact, from the home screen, press the Right Soft key.

  3. Scroll to Create contact, then press the Center Nav Key.

  4. Scroll to the desired storage location then press the Center Nav key.

  5. Using the keypad, enter the desired first name.

  6. Scroll to Last name, then enter the phone number using the keypad.

  7. Scroll to the desired phone number, then enter the number using the keypad.

  8. Add any additional information as desired.

  9. Press the Center Nav Key to save.

  10. To add a picture and ringtone to a contact, from the home screen, press the Right Soft key.

  11. Scroll to the desired contact, then press the Left Soft Key.

  12. Scroll to Edit, then press the Center Nav key.

  16. Scroll to the Ringtone Field, then press the Center Nav key.

  17. Scroll to the desired option, then press the Center Nav key to select.

  19. Press the Left Soft key.

  20. To edit a contact, from the home screen, press the Right Soft key.

  21. Scroll to the desired contact, then press the Left Soft Key.

  22. Scroll to Edit, then press the Left Soft key.

  23. Scroll to then make the desired change using the keypad.

  24. Press the Center Nav Key to save.

  25. To delete a contact, from the home screen, press the Right Soft key.

  26. Scroll to the desired contact, then press the Left Soft Key.

  27. Scroll to Delete, then press the Center Nav key.

  28. Press the Left Soft key to delete.

  29. To backup contacts to SIM card, tap Menu > Address Book > Options > Settings > SIM Management > Copy Contacts to SIM > Check the desired contact(s), then press Copy > Yes > OK.
    Note: To copy contacts from the SIM to the phone, from a Home screen, press Menu > Address Book > Options > Settings > SIM Management > Copy Contacts from SIM and press Select or the Center key. A list of your SIM contacts displays. Highlight All or highlight the individual contacts to transfer, then press the Center key > Copy. For information backing up contacts using AT&T Address Book, please see the 'AT&T Address Book' tutorial.
