1. To remove an app from the home screen, touch and hold the icon.
   
2. Drag the icon to Remove, and then release.
   Note: Removing an app from the home screen does not delete it from the device.
   
3. To delete an app from the device, from the home screen tap Apps.
   
4. Touch and hold the desired app.
   
5. Drag the icon to Uninstall, and then release.
   Note: Some pre-installed applications cannot be uninstalled from the device, but can be turned off.
   
6. Tap OK.
   Note: Downloaded applications can be re-installed through the Google Play Store. To turn a pre-loaded application back on, go to Settings > More > Application manager > Swipe to the Turned off tab > tap the desired app > tap Turn on.
