Add your Google account to sync Gmail, Chrome, YouTube, Google Maps, and more.

  1. Registering a Google account allows you to download and purchase content in the Google Play Store, access email through the Gmail application, receive personalized Google Search results, and have your account automatically logged in for all other Google-based services on your device.

  2. From the home screen, swipe down the Notifications bar with two fingers.

  3. Tap the Settings icon.

  4. Scroll to, then tap Accounts.

  5. Tap "Google."

  6. In the Email field, enter your Email address, then tap NEXT.
    Note: If you need a Google account, tap Or create a new account and follow the on-screen prompts or visit www.gmail.com.

  7. In the Password field, enter your Password, then tap NEXT.
    Note: If you have forgotten your password, go to google.com/accounts/recovery.

  8. Tap ACCEPT to agree to the Terms of Service.

  9. Tap MORE to enable or disable Google services as desired.

  10. When finished, tap NEXT.

  11. The Account is now added to the device.
