1. To turn the device on, press and hold the Power/Lock key until the screen lights up.
   
2. To turn the device off, press and hold the Power/Lock key.
   
3. Tap Power off.
   
4. Tap POWER OFF.
   
5. If you are unable to turn your device on, plug the device into a power source for 15 minutes and then try again.
   
6. If you are unable to power your device off or if it becomes unresponsive, press and hold the Power/Lock key for 10 seconds, until it reboots.
   
7. If you are unable to turn your device off with the Power/Lock key, remove and re-insert the battery.
