1. To raise or lower the volume, press the Volume button on the edge of the device.
   
2. After pressing on the volume key button, you can also adjust the volume on the screen in the Volume bar.
   
3. Set the volume level to 0 to enable Silent mode.
   
4. You can also adjust the volume by swiping in from the right edge of the Start screen to access the ACTION CENTER.
   
5. Tap All settings.
   
6. Tap System.
   
7. Tap Notifications & actions.
   
8. Adjust app notification settings as desired.
