1. Use your AT&T device as a mobile Wi-Fi hotspot to share your data connection with Wi-Fi-capable devices such as: other smartphones, tablets, netbooks, MP3 players, and more. 
   Note: Eligible data plan required, learn more.
   
2. From the home screen, select Menu.
   
3. Select Settings.
   
4. Select Wireless & networks.
   
5. Select More.
   
6. Select Tethering & Mobile Hotspot.
   
7. Then select Mobile Hotspot.
   
8. Select On.
   
9. Select OK.
   
10. When Mobile Hotspot is on, the Mobile Hotspot icon will display in the Notification bar.
    
11. To configure Mobile Hotspot, from the Tethering & Mobile Hotspot menu, select Mobile Hotspot settings.
    
12. Select Configure Mobile Hotspot.
    
13. Enter the desired Network name and Password, then select Save.
    
14. To view what devices are connected, from the Mobile Hotspot settings, select Connected devices.
    
15. To turn Mobile Hotspot off, from the Tethering & Mobile Hotspot menu, select Mobile Hotspot, then select Off.
