Bluetooth

Turn Bluetooth on or off, scan and connect to other Bluetooth devices, and unpair a connected device.

  1. From the home screen, select Menu.
    Note: To optimize battery life, turn Bluetooth off when not in use.

  2. Select Settings.

  3. Select Wireless & networks.

  4. Scroll to and select Bluetooth.

  5. To see devices, select Turn on.

  6. When Bluetooth is on, the Bluetooth icon will display in the Notification bar.

  7. Once Bluetooth is turned on, your phone will scan for Bluetooth devices.

  8. Select the desired Bluetooth device to connect.
    Note: You may be prompted to enter a passcode (common default passcode is 0000).

  9. To unpair your device, select desired device, then select Options.
    Note: If having trouble pairing/unpairing your device with your vehicle, please refer to your vehicle's user manual for additional information.

  10. Select Selected device settings.

  11. Select Forget.

  12. To turn Bluetooth off, from the Bluetooth menu, select Turn off.
