  1. If you cannot connect to the AT&T network and the 4G or 4G LTE icon is not in the notification bar, verify you are in a coverage area and have an appropriate AT&T plan.

  2. If you have an appropriate AT&T plan and are in a coverage area, restart the device. Press and hold the Power key.
