1. A master reset reverts the device back to factory settings. It will permanently erase all personal data, preferences, and settings. To begin, from the homescreen, swipe to and select Settings.
   
2. Select About.
   
3. Select Factory Reset.
   
4. Select Factory Reset.
   
5. Select OK. The device will now reset.
