1. To adjust screen timeout to a shorter duration, press Menu > Settings > Display > Backlight Timer > Display > select desired time.
   Note: The talk time on this device is 5.9 hours, the standoby time is 16.7 days.
   
2. To turn off Bluetooth when not in use press Menu > Settings > Connection > Bluetooth > Turn Off.
   
3. If you are travelling and do not have access to mobile networks, switch to Flight mode. To access Flight mode press Menu > Settings > Phone Settings > Flight Mode > On.
