View cellular network signal, turn international roaming, and your mobile data connection on or off.
INSTRUCTIONS & INFO
The Signal Strength icon will display the strength of the network signal. When you are within range of a cellular tower the indicator will show more bars. If you are not in range of a cellular tower you will have fewer bars/less signal strength. Note:To view the locations AT&T data service can be used, see the AT&T Network coverage map.
The Data connection icon will display the type of data connection available. If 4G LTE is available, the 4G LTE symbol will appear next to the signal strength indicator in the Notifications bar. Note:Mobile data is on by default. Turning off the mobile data will not allow any data to be transferred over the wireless network. Wi-Fi access, voice function, and standard text messaging are still allowed. You can also turn data on/off using your myAT&T account. Learn more about disabling or activating AT&T Mobile Share member’s data usage by device.
Tap International data roaming to turn on or off. Note: Data roaming is off by default. Enabling Data roaming will allow the device to attach to foreign wireless network signals when available. International roaming charges will apply. To learn more, visit the AT&T International Calling website.
