1. To lock your device screen, press the Power/Lock button.
   
2. To unlock your device screen, press the Power/Lock button.
   
3. To change security lock type, swipe down from the Notification bar.
   
4. Tap the Settings icon.
   
5. In the PERSONAL tab, tap Lock screen and security.
   
6. Tap Screen lock type.
   
7. Tap Desired screen lock type.
   Note: For this demonstration “Pattern” was selected.
   
8. Draw desired pattern, then tap CONTINUE.
   
9. To confirm, draw desired pattern again, then tap CONFIRM.
   
10. Select display options for notifications on the lock screen, then tap DONE.
    
11. To lock your device screen, press the Power/Lock button.
    
12. Your device now has a pattern screen lock type.
    
13. To unlock your device Draw unlock pattern.
    
14. To change your security lock type, swipe down from the Notification bar and tap the Settings icon.
    
15. In the PERSONAL tab, tap Lock screen and security.
    
16. Tap Screen lock type.
    
17. Enter your current passcode.
    
18. Choose new security lock type and follow the on-screen prompts.
