Reset pattern lock
Reset a forgotten pattern lock.
INSTRUCTIONS & INFO
- You have 10 tries to enter the correct pattern lock code before the device resets, which will delete all its data. After the first 5 attempts, you will be prompted to Try again in 30 seconds. Tap OK.
- Enter the word "blackberry". Then tap Done.
- You have 5 more tries to enter the code. After the next 3 unsuccessful attempts, tap OK to continue.
- After 9 more unsuccessful tries, you will be warned that after 1 more attempt the device will reset. Tap OK to continue.
- Enter the word "blackberry". Then tap Done to continue. This will be your last chance to enter the correct passcode. If you fail to enter the correct passcode at this point, the device will reset and all data will be deleted.
- If a Google account has been set up, you will be prompted to enter that Google account info during the device setup.
