1. Press the Power button to lock the device.
   
2. To unlock, press the Power button to wake up the device.
   
3. Swipe up to unlock.
   
4. To set a password on your device, swipe down from the Notification bar, then tap All settings.
   
5. Tap Personalization.
   
6. Tap Lock screen.
   
7. Scroll to, then tap Sign-in options.
   
8. To create a PIN, tap Add.
   
9. Enter your account password for your phone, then tap save.
   
10. Enter the desired PIN, then confirm the PIN. Tap OK.
    
11. To access your phone after the PIN is active, swipe up from the Lock screen.
    
12. Enter your PIN to unlock the device.
    
13. To change the PIN for the device, from the SIGN-IN OPTIONS menu, tap Change and follow the on-screen prompts.
    
14. To remove the PIN for the device, tap Remove, then tap Remove again to confirm.
