- Use the Original charger to maintain optimal battery performance over the life of your tablet.
Note: The battery comes partially charged. When new, it takes approximately 2 hours to charge the device from 0-50% and 5.5 hours to charge from 0-100%. You can use the device while charging.
- Insert the microUSB end of the microUSB cable into the microUSB port at the side of the tablet.

- Plug the Charger into a wall outlet. If necessary, connect the USB cable to the charger.

- Alternatively, you can insert the USB end of the cable into a computer to charge.
Note: Your device charges quicker using a power outlet than when connected to a laptop or other power source.
- When the tablet is charging, the Charging icon will be displayed in the Notification bar.
Note: To display or hide the battery percentage in the notification bar,from the home screen select Settings> GENERAL tab > Battery > Percentage on status bar.
- When the tablet is fully charged, the Fully charged icon will be displayed in the Notification bar.

- This tablet has an Internet usage time of up to 9 hours and Standby time up to 79 days.
Note: When the battery is weak and only a few minutes of operation remain, the tablet sounds a warning tone at regular intervals. In this condition, your device conserves its remaining battery power by dimming the screen.
