- Watch, search, record, and more. You never have to be without the entertainment you can’t live without. With the DIRECTV app on your phone, your favorite movies and shows are all right there in your pocket, ready to entertain whenever the mood strikes you. To access, swipe left from the home screen and select DIRECTV.
- If DIRECTV is not up to date, you will be prompted to update the app. Select UPDATE. When complete, select OPEN.
- Review the End User Acknowledgement then select I Agree.
- Review the permissions for DIRECTV including make and manage phone calls, access to the device's location, and Access the SD card then select Deny or Allow.
Enter your Login information and select Sign in.
- Select Watch on Phone or Browse for TV.
Note: For this demonstration, Watch on Phone was chosen.
- Select the desired show to watch.
- To search for a show or movie, select the Search icon.
- Select the Search bar then enter the desired search information.
- Select the Desired search result.
- To adjust settings, select the Menu icon.
- Select Settings & Help.
- To use the DTV Quick Remote, select Browse for TV then select the Remote icon.
