Airplane Mode

Learn how to turn Airplane Mode on and off using the Quick Settings or through Settings.

In this tutorial, you will learn how to:

• Turn Airplane mode on or off from Quick Setting
• Turn Airplane mode on or off through Settings

Airplane mode will disable all wireless services on the device. Calls, data, and text messages cannot be sent or received. Disable Airplane mode to restore regular device function. 

When Airplane Mode is turned on, the Airplane mode icon will display in the Notification bar.


 

Turn Airplane mode on or off from Quick Settings

1. From the home screen, press the right navigational button to access Quick settings. Press the down button to highlight Airplane mode, then press the Select button.

2. Press the navigational buttons to highlight the desired option, then press the Select button.

Turn Airplane mode on or off through Settings

1. From the home screen, press the Select button to access the Apps tray then press the navigational buttons to highlight the Settings & tools app. Press the Select button.

2. Press the Select button to select Settings, then press the Select button to select Wireless & networks.

3. Press the Select button to select Airplane mode. Press the navigational buttons to highlight the desired option, then press the Select button.
