Notifications & Alerts

In this tutorial, you will learn how to:

 

• Quickly access and respond to notifications
• Access notification settings
• Turn lock screen notifications on or off
• Turn on or off notification badges
• Turn notifications on or off on a per-app basis
• Adjust notification sounds

Swipe down from the Notification bar. Notifications will be displayed.



To respond to a notification, select the drop-down icon then select the desired response or action.

1. Swipe down from the Notification bar with two fingers, then select the  Settings icon.

2. Select Apps & notifications > Notifications > edit settings as desired. 

From the Notifications screen, select Notifications on lock screen then select the desired option. 

From the Notifications screen, scroll to and select Advanced > scroll to and select the Notification dot on app icon switch. 

 

From the Notifications screen, select the desired app > adjust notification settings as desired. 

Note: To enable or disable app icon badges, scroll to and select Advanced > Allow notification dot switch.

From the Settings screen, select Sound & vibration > Advanced > Default notification sound > navigate to and select desired sound > select OK when finished.
