GPay can be used at payment terminals that feature the GPay symbol or the
 Contactless symbol. For more information on using Google Pay in stores visit Pay in Stores. For more information on using Google Pay on an app or website, visit Pay on an app or website.Â
If GPay is not installed on the device, it can be installed through the Play Store.

1. From the home screen, swipe up from the center of the screen to access the Apps tray, then select the  GPay app.
2. Select Continue and follow the on-screen prompts.Â
3. To add a method of payment, select the Pay tab, then select the Payment contactless icon. Select the desired Add a payment method or Add a card, then follow the prompts to complete setup.Â
To use Google Pay in stores, your phone must be unlocked and NFC must be enabled. To unlock your device, press the Power/Lock button located on the right side of the device, then swipe up from the bottom of the lock screen.
Note: If you have set up a screen lock, enter your current screen lock or place and hold your finger on the fingerprint sensor on the screen to unlock.
To enable NFC, swipe down from the Notification bar with two fingers, then select the  Settings icon > Connected devices > Connection preferences > NFC > select the Use NFC switch to turn NFC on or off.
