In this tutorial, you will learn how to:
• View battery usage

Use the original charger and battery to maintain optimal battery performance over the life of your device. The battery comes partially charged. Battery life and charge cycles vary by use and settings.

View battery usage
1. From the home screen, press the OK button. Press the navigation keys to highlight the Settings app, then press the OK button to select.
2. Press the navigation keys to navigate to About phone, then press the OK button to select About phone > Battery.
3. Press the navigation keys to highlight Battery used history, then press the OK button. Battery usage will be displayed.

Turn off auto-sync
1. From the Settings screen, press the navigation keys to navigate to Phone settings, then press the OK button to select Phone settings > Accounts.
2. Press the Right Menu key to select Options.
3. Press the navigation keys to highlight Automatically sync data, then press the OK button. Press the OK button again to select Turn off.
Turn off unused services and activate airplane modeÂ
From Home screen, press the Right Menu key to select Shortcuts to access Quick Settings. Press the navigation keys to highlight the Bluetooth icon, then press the OK button to turn off. Press the navigation keys to highlight the Wi-Fi icon, then press the OK button to turn off. If you are traveling and do not have access to mobile or Wi-Fi networks, enable Airplane mode. From the Quick settings screen, press the navigation keys to highlight the Airplane mode icon, then press the OK button to turn on. Press the Right Menu key to select Turn on.
Change display settings
To extend battery life, set the screen to a lower brightness and decrease screen timeout. From the Settings screen, press the navigation keys to highlight Display then press the OK button.

• LOWER SCREEN BRIGHTNESS: From the Display screen, press the navigation keys to highlight Brightness, then press the left navigation key to lower screen brightness.
• DECREASE SCREEN TIMEOUT: From the Display screen, press the navigation keys to highlight Display backlight, then press the OK button. Press the navigation keys to highlight the desired option, then press the OK button to select.
