Look in your phone’s Settings app for the IMEI and EID number.  
•    iPhone®: Select General, then About
•    Android: Select System, then About phone
You can also get them by entering *#06# on your phone’s keypad.

Your device’s IMEI and EID numbers are used to identify and activate your phone on our network.

An IMEI number identifies a digital device that can connect to a cellular network.

An EID number identifies a device’s embedded eSIM chip. If your device has an EID number, your device has an eSIM.

We will run a verification check using your numbers and let you know if your device will work on our network.

1.    Complete your Build-A-Plan purchase.
2.    Connect your device to Wi-Fi®. 
3.    Open the system notification to install the AT&T eSIM. 
4.    Follow the prompts to download, install, and activate your eSIM.

Yes, your phone needs to be unlocked by any previous carriers. It also needs to be compatible with the AT&T network and new enough to support 5G.  FYI: We’ll check your phone’s compatibility during the purchase process.
