Strong Case, Bad Latch.
-- Case is super strong. Nobody is going to be able to snatch it off your belt. Velcro latch is terrible. Doesn't stay closed. Needs a Magnetic latch.

Perplexed: Niteize still uses poor quality Velcro
I bought my first Niteize phone case five or six years ago. I have two of these cases one that I wear for work and one that I use when I’m not working at my handyman/carpentry job. I have experienced the Velcro failure that other people doing reviews have also commented on. The most recent one was perhaps a year and a half ago and on that occasion, I was in communication with your warranty department and sent them photos of the phone case and the faulty Velcro strips. Great product! Except for the closure

I have been a long-time user of these phone holsters. They're great! Except for when the Velcro starts to wear out, which happens within a few months. Then you have a rugged and durable product that doesn't close and doesn't protect the phone when, for example, you're jogging across the road the phone jumps out.
The easiest solution, and one I'm surprised they haven't implemented, is to use a magnetic closure.
Yes, I recommend this product.

They provided me a new phone case and here we are again. One of the questions that I ask them at that time was how long is it reasonable for these phone cases to last? I never got a response to that. Everything that is man-made has a useful life, but what is it for this phone case?
In my work, I am constantly bending over and with the ineffective Velcro, I frequently have my phone falling out of the case, and/or my clutch battery back up that I carry behind the elastic partition. My question today is the design team at your company, listening to the customer reviews and concerns that have been expressed? The quality of the case itself, excluding the Velcro of course, is very good quality, but the quality of the case in fact is diminished by the quality of the Velcro that you use. You can see by my photo that my case is in good condition but if you take a careful look at the Velcro, you can see that the strip on the case, as compared to the portion on the cover, is not looking good. Maybe it is the opposite portion that is on the cover itself that has lost its fuzzy condition and or been worn out, but one way or the other it is not attaching properly and securely. Before I buy another new case, I will be in contact with your company. As to my willingness to recommend this case to others, I have mixed feelings. I have recommended it previously and people have purchased it, but given the fact that I’m disappointed, and many of your customers have commented on the same Velcro problem, it makes me wonder how many people are satisfied?

nice, but needs improvement

I've had my case for a bit over 6 months.
Really needs the flap to cover the whole opening to keep out water.
The other problem is that the velcro on the flap is now missing about half of its velcro.
