The Plantronics Explorer 500 Bluetooth headset helps you stay focused on life instead of your phone, delivering GSMA-certified HD Voice clarity to your calls and interactions with Siri, Google Now, and Cortana. DeepSleep™ power-saving hibernation mode keeps your headset charged, and the included USB charging strap keeps your headset with you and within reach when looped to a key ring, bag, or belt loop.
Dual-mic wind and noise reduction is enhanced with GSMA-certified HD Voice clarity when used with wideband-enabled phones and service. Hear your music, GPS directions, podcasts, and more, streamed from your smartphone. Multipoint technology maintains active connection with two smartphones, letting you answer calls from either one. Choose one of three languages (English, Spanish, or French) for whispered battery and connection status notifications. The lightweight design features a comfortable eartip that conforms to the shape of the ear for a stable fit. Free Plantronics mobile apps are available on the Apple and Google Play app stores to learn more about your headset features and even help locate your lost headset.

Works Great!
I bought this about a month ago. I love it! Volume works well. It rests in my ear and not on my ear which is what I really wanted. My ear was sore in the beginning but it has passed now. I love it! I may buy a backup just in case.

Not hat good on volume and the talk time is not got either, it says 7hr, although that's not good it really all stay charged for like 5hrs

The Mono Bluetoooth works well except that it does not fit tightly in my ear. With this issue, it sometimes feels like it will fall out and some sounds are not as loud as others.

Thank you for your honest review on our Explorer 500; However, we're sorry to hear about your experience. In order to increase the volume on the earpiece, make sure to tap the Volume button once for each level. **Android phone must be set to medium/high or audio will sound too low. All Poly headsets meet and exceed OSHA standard regulations/requirements. None of our headsets exceed 118dBA. As for the talk time performance, please try using a 5-volt charger for optimal performance. As you may know, the earpiece provides Call Audio and Media Audio which means there can be a significant difference in battery consumption when leaning mainly towards media audio. If this is not your case and you have tried only using call audio and still get the same results, as a last step, we would suggest you to test it with a different phone. This model has a one-year warranty from date of purchase. We thank you for bringing this to our attention.
