Great Phone if your willing to try something new

I read all the complaints on here and do not agree with them at all. Ive had this phone for a few days and although it does not have as many apps as android or apple these do work with minimal or no bugs. I was a diehard android user but as many of you know with any new smartphone you buy, theres always some risk of getting a bad one. Me and my wife got one at the same time with no glitches, battery life is better than the galaxy... the processor is comparable to the HTC One M8 or Galaxy S5, and although it does not have an expandble memory we have found 32gb to be plenty because the cloud storage is so easily accessible with click of a button. It came with a year of amazon prime which has free movies and music rather than having to download some poor app to get music then have it not work after the first update as many of you android users know what im talking about. The camers both front and back are amazing both better than any iphone on the market or even the new Iphone 6 comming out. The screen looks gorgeous and though the interface did take some getting use to, me and my wife are able to manuver our phones like champs in just a few days. Fortune favors the bold so dont be afraid to try something new and have the patience to appreciate it for what it truly is.

I decided to try this phone just to have something different from everyone else. What a mistake!!!! I came from an iPhone 5S and used this phone for 4 days, then went BACK to my iPhone 5S (what I should have kept in the first place)I only kept this phone for that long because I was working and had no time to return it. When you get a text, the notification does not light up on the screen... After day one, when I went to type a text message the keys disappeared. Luckily I knew where every letter and number was on the keyboard because if not, I wouldn't have been able to send a text. When you go to the camera roll, it takes 20 times taping on a picture for it to blow up. You have no where near as many apps as an android or IPhone... For some reason, the phone picked certain ppl for me to send messages too, others never received any of my messages. Over all, I was SO happy to return this phone. The reps at the local AT&T were not surprised at all that I returned the phone, considering they haven't sold not one of them, other than to me. Point is.. Go with a galaxy or iPhone because you will be so unhappy with this phone.

Best Cell Phone Ever!

I bought this because I love my Kindle Fire! I have always had iphones but this "Fire" is undoubtably the best phone ever! Easy to use. User friendly. Great size! Love the wallpaper 3D pics. It is the best phone on the market today!!!

Fabulous Phone!

I just bought this phone and I don't even know why in the world people are saying it is so awful. A lot of people respond with "no apps" um actually you are allowed to download google play, I did and it works perfectly. I have no issues with it heating up either, you just must be very unlucky if you do. I have no issues at all! I guess if you want a phone that comes straight out of a box to please you then BUY AN IPHONE 6! As for motion sickness, turn off the feature! "There's no back button?" Swipe up from the bottom of the screen! Learn how to use the phone, not everything is an iPhone! Not fast enough, get a better internet connection! Stop whining, this phone is simply wonderful for a decent price!

I bought this phone about two months ago after being told by a few of the store sales persons that I most likely wouldn't like it. I read numerous reviews, both positive and negative but was still drawn to the phone... and I'm glad! It has turned out to be exactly what I hoped it would be and more! The quality of the camera is just as good, if not better, quality than my old iPhone 5c. (The back-facing camera is definitely higher quality than any phones I've had!)
The phone comes with some of the usual Android settings but you can also download apps to customize the phone even more; like the texting app I use to customize my messages.
The only negative thing I have to say about the phone is that although the voice command understands me SO MUCH better than Siri ever did, it can't do as many things - like create reminders. But there are apps you can download for that too.
Some of the games have amazing 3D features. I'm absolutely in love with the graphics on this phone.
The carousel makes my most used apps easy to find, even suggesting other similar apps I'd be interested in. Plus the navigation on the phone is much more interesting than the iPhone could ever be, with the swipe, swivel, and tilt features.
All in all I LOVE the Amazon Fire Phone. I will never go back to Apple.
