Love it.. for anyone who deals with scratches on the back camera...read on
There's a anti reflection film on the back camera lens. I thought my camera was super scratched and my pics were also coming out blurry. It wasn't a very good idea on HTCs part because I know many people who have experienced this but the solution is, take a q-tip with glass cleaner and run it on the back lenses. It takes off the purple film and your pics will be clear again.

Bad
Started off as a really good phone but then over time it got worse and worse. I have white dots all over the back of my device and the charging port is breaking.

Best phone ever!

This is by far the best phone that I have had in years. I am a very picky person with phones, I look at the features to make sure that it does what I need and works perfectly. I have used iPhones (4s and 5s) and multiple android phones (Galaxy Note 2 and Note 3, Galaxy S4) and none of them work like this phone. Size wise the phone is perfect doesn't feel to small or too big, I can read my kindle books on it no problem. Battery is amazing I only have to charge it every other day where all my other phones I had to charge every day some of them multiple times a day. Camera is clear and takes great pictures, the only thing I miss is the folders that I brought from my computer with pictures to my phone don't show under the folders that I have they are all put under one folder but that isn't a deal breaker for me. The music app is awesome for the music and I like that it shows me the lyrics of the songs too (except for some songs that are "out of the normal")

I really enjoy all aspects of the phone except that when the phone is locked, it shouldn't make any calls. The only call it can make is 9-1-1 calls which may sound great at first. I place my phone in my back pocket at work or in my purse, with enough pressure touching the screen it will activate the screen to put in your pin number. Well the screen also has an annoying emergency button that with the slightest touch near that area it calls 9-1-1. In the ppast month I've accidentally called then twice! I've been told that it's a safety feature for people in car wrecks. It may be safety on one end but the other when not needed can take away from someone else's safety. They need to do an update on the phone to make it optional, if someone decides not to have the feature on their phone then AT&T can cover themselves.

Battery / charge issues

I had first one 14 months, stopped charging. Brand new one battery life is horrible even in saver mode and now taking longer to charge

Best phone I've had

Good call quality, but with HD calling turned on, it was so clear that it sounded like my wife was in a recording studio. All I could say is "wow". Fast and smooth, does not slow down over time like some other phones. Battery life is exceptional.

I have had my phone for over a year now and its great! I love HTC phone ❤ The music sound quality is amazing! Only down side to the phone is finding accessories for it

Everything I need.

Bought this recently to replace an M7. I loved the M7 but the microphone died and I had to use the speakerphone. I understand this is a common problem with the M7 model. The M8 is slightly bigger requiring the purchase of a new case and charging dock. The M8 has all the features of the M7 and more. I am happy with the phone so far and hope it will last longer than the M7.
