I just got my Phoenix two day's ago. This is my first Android, honestly my first smart phone period. I bought my son the HTC Inspire about 4-5 months ago and let me tell you this little phone has all the kick than the bigger smart phones do!! And people, it doesn't matter what cell phone you get the battery life isn't that great, just a fact that every cell phone comp needs to work on. I love this phone period!! I'm still figuring out all the features but I can tell you that I noticed that the media and phone volume is a lot louder than the bigger phones, like the HTC'S and IPhones!! The memory is decent, but I will purchase a larger SD card for it but that's not a big deal. There's also a couple different ways to use the online keyboard, just find the one that works best for you. I was always afraid to purchase a phone online, I like to see what I'm getting before I buy it, but I DO NOT regret getting this Phoenix.. Best Phone Ever!!! I Love it and I'm glad I bought it!!! It does everything the big bulky smart phones can do but in a smaller package, if your undecided about this phone like I was all I can is "GO FOR IT", you won't be disappointed.

Good Entry Android, Great Price
For an entry level smart phone this LG Phoenix (the Optimus One variant for AT&T) is the phone to get. For those who have never used an Android phone this is the best phone to go with to get used to the platform. Coming with Android 2.2, FROYO, right out of the box you can get most of the apps the high end Android phones have without paying high end Android phone prices. The 3,2" screen is a little on the small size but is definitely manageable. The phone only comes with a 600MHZ processor but the speed the phone has in opening and operating apps is actually quite surprising. You can get a good day with a full battery charge, which is very good for an Android phone. The camera is decent at 3MP. Problems are the lack of a dedicated camera button and the lack of internal storage. A MicroSD card is definitely required. The size of the screen is definitely a problem for heavy texters but is definitely manageable.

I have had this phone for over a year, in this time i have dropped it, drop kicked it (accidentally) and nearly drowned it, on more than one occasion. Just when i think i've killed it it rises from the ashes. Reading other reviews i noticed people having issues with the phone freezing, i dont have this problem. Either i got the one good phone or those people are... Well anyway, a few of you know what i', talking about, as for the rest of you... i think your phone froze up again. With that said this model is discontinued so none of this really matters, does it.

Great Phone

I have read most of the reviews and I've noticed that most of them are against this phone. The battery isn't the best but Android is something that tends to use alot of the memory rather quickly. The only downside is that the camera has no flash! That's the only problem that I see. :D
