Love This Phone
I bought this about 6 months ago, and thought it was a steal. Now, the price has dropped to less than half of what I paid! MAN, am I mad I didn't wait a little bit longer! I love this phone enough that I am thinking about buying another one at this low price for when I wear mine out in a few years.
I transitioned to this phone after a couple different iPhones, mainly for the bargain price and the ability to add extra storage. The only downside is that this phone does not support Google See more

Don't bother
I have had two of these and neither has worked correctly. The first one kept going to black screen and the second kept receiving texts in Chinese and alter watching a few videos the videos would go to green screen but still play dialog.

un-killable battery! great screen and camera

I bought this phone as soon as it came out. After 3 days or so of breaking in the battery , I found this phone to be unkillable. I will have 45% battery left at midnight after fairly heavy use of the phone from 8am on. If you're looking for a phablet to get the job done but doesn't have to be insane bonkers gamer alienware fast CPU wise, you wont be disappointed. It's a very good value and the phone shines where it counts. Calls are loud and clear and the earpiece loudness is more than ample. This would be a great phone for a businessman who gets a zillion emails and talks on the phone constantly. HD videos play fine . Lte speeds are great. The front facing camera is pretty darn good if the lighting is right- you can see pores if you zoom in. It's that clear.
Although the screen is 720p , I find that it lacks nothing when it comes to clarity. Colors are beautiful and unbelievably realistic.
All that said , if you need insanely fast CPU for gaming , this is not a replacement for the galaxy s phones or iPhone. Wait for the Lumia 940xl if you're looking for an iPhone killer.

Not what I was anticipating.

Sad to say this is the review I need to give this. I've been looking forward to this phone for awhile now as a replacement for my Lumia 1520. I knew that there were a few downgrades from the 1520 and was ok with that. The screen resolution didn't bother me nor the camera quality.
However, after a little under two hours, I am seriously contemplating returning it and going back.
1. Cortana. Having gotten used to my "hey Cortana!" feature, I was very disappointed to find out that they put a lower end processor in and that capability is not available for this phone. (Also, since I've had the phone. It has yet to allow me on to the internet for searches or even basic access to facebook)
2. No 5G network Access. While this isn't a deal breaker, I do like to be able to utilize the faster connection provided by my router. So to find out that this does not have it, bothered me.
3. Access. As stated above, I have yet to be able to access the internet on my phone at all. I am connected to my network, and my apps are downloading fine. But (and maybe it's because of the apps downloading, which if it is, pretty much is the nail in the coffin for me) I have no access to any website, and when I attempt to do a website search, Cortana informs me that; "She and the internet aren't talking right now. Cute, but terribly frustrating.
If you're looking for an entry level phablet, then I think this phone will be great for you. And having all three OSes on the market, I can tell you that while WP8.1 has a steep learning curve, It's the only one of the bunch that I want to continue to use. So it makes this even harder to say.
While it was more my fault that I didn't tread more carefully with this phone, and didn't realize it was not even close to what I had gotten used to with my 1520, I really am disappointed with this phone. Microsoft said they wanted to make an impact in the cell phone market, and do that by offering a great phone at an even better price. The price is nice, to be sure. But this is not an effort that will help them make any inroads into Apple and Samsung's lion share of cell phone users.
Truly, Truly disappointed.

I got the phone and it was really nice it didnt have any good apps to download but then I played around with it for a while and updated to windows 10 after this update its like the best thing ever Now I just need more storage and thats it.

one of the worst phones i have ever had!!! Can't get the apps I want and always having issues with the camera. Won't play videos at times. I will go back to my iphone!!

It's a little too big for my liking; plus the battery tends to come loose and requires you to take it out of its case, unsnap the back and put the battery back into place. Otherwise, it's "fair," I suppose.
