Great durable phone!
I had this phone for over a year. I just gave it to my husband because I was eligible for an upgrade, and wanted a phone with a full qwerty. I have dropped it many times, and I have never had a problem. The sound is great with the exception of speaker phone, it is very soft, but not really a problem at all. I love that it slides shut so there is no random pocket dialing. The buttons are sort of small and close together, but you get used to it after a while. This phone has a very long lasting battery. I can go up to three days without charging it! If you've been doing a lot of texting it is ideal to charge it through the night. Samsung got it right with this one! I would definitely recommend it for anyone, especially people who tend to be rough on their phones. I never had the battery fall out, it never froze, the phone has some scratches but nothing awful. Great for all ages. The camera isn't that amazing on it, but it works. The menu is easy to manipulate. The games are sort of lame but you can solve that problem by downloading any your interested in. Very durable good phone.

Don't buy unless you want a very basic phone!
Battery life was ok at first, but not anymore. I have had this for 14 months. My one-year-old frequently connects to the Internet, which I don't use. Don't want to pay for something that is accidentally accessed! It is too easy...just push the biggest button on front. Sound quality is very poor during calls. I have it on the loudest setting, but often have trouble hearing people. You can't really zoom or edit phots for your wallpaper or anything, and picture quality is low. I also have difficulty finding what I am looking for sometimes. I think things are arranged strangely. I always had LG phones before. Never had any major problems with those. This phone is pretty durable when dropped. My only pro is that!

Ive had this since I was 11, im 15 now THAT EXPLAINS ALOT
13 years ago
This phone is why I love samsung products. This was my first phone when I was 12 years old and upgraded 2 times since then. Both upgrades I had a problem and needed this one. Samsung is a company that builds their phones with pride and massive durability. This phone has seen better days but im telling you ive dropped it many times and the performance is still of when i first bought this phone. the call quality is excellent and also I was just so used to texting on a keypad that its almost easier for me than the qwerty touchscreen keyboard on my current phone the Motorola MB860. This is nowadays what u would call my backup phone but i can still use full time if i needed too. It is extremely well built and for me its absolutely perfect for texting and calling. This is true Samsung quality and represents just how an amazing company they are.
Galaxy S3 has been a great phone so far. No problems and super fast.

A: If it's a standard AT&T 3G SIM, then it should work. But please keep in mind that when you purchase a new phone, we recommend using the SIM that's included with your new device. -Erwin, AT&T Social Media Manager
If you'd like me to check on your specific SIM and account, please provide me with your account/contact information. I normally work M-F from 8-5pm CST.

Q: What vehicle's bluetooth is compatible with this phone?
I was unable to get the bluetooth to connect with my Kia Forte. It would, however connect with my husband's car, so I know the bluetooth works. And, I followed directions on making sure that there is only one vehicle, the Kia Forte, that the device (the phone) was trying to be connected to, and it said, "cannot find connection".
