How did I live without this?

To sum it up in 3 words, I LOVE IT! It's so much easier to carry around than my laptop, and unless I'm typing an essay, I can do pretty much anything I need to do on it. The plethora of available apps is amazing. The only downside of it is that it becomes somewhat addicting.
As for value, you can't beat this price...and who cares if it doesn't have forward and backward facing cameras. Basically, that's the $420 difference between this and the iPad 2.
Prostools, menus, games, speaker, battery life, Wi-Fi capable, durable, ease of use, great for watching movies etc.

Perfect for the working Mom!

The IPAD with 3G allows me to complete all my work, especially live conferencing and connect with family using the facetime AP. I am able to help with homework, read stories outloud and be there for my kids and husband when they need to see my face and hear my voice. All of these interactions do not add any cost. The speed is phenomenal, the clarity is great, and the conveniences of all the features of the thousands of apps available. Work, play and connect efficiently and inexpensively from anywhere!

Versatile and very user friendly

The iPad offers the largest screen of available tablets. Very important if running business management software. Price is competitive to slightly more than other products. However, the saying "You get what you pay" is applicable to the iPad. Touch screen is seamless in use and no awkward delays between screens or loading apps. The only negative is the inability to load sites that use Flash. But, apps are available to bridge the issue. Not seamless but as technology advances this will undoubtably improve. Overall a great product and worthwhile investment.
