Checking for and installing system updates
It's important to keep your device current with the latest features, security updates, and other critical fixes.

From the Home screen, tap Settings.

Scroll to General.
3.
Tap General.
4.
Tap Software Updates.
5.
Tap Automatic Updates.
6.
Tap or swipe the Download iOS Updates toggle to ON.
If necessary, follow the onscreen prompts to update your software.
