1. Press and hold the Home button to turn on the watch. 

 

 

2. To connect your watch with your smartphone, navigate to and select the  Galaxy Wearable app, then select Start. 

 

Note: To install the Galaxy Wearable app, from the home screen, select the  Play Store app > search for and select Galaxy Wearable app > select Install > Open. For more information, see the Download Apps & Games tutorial.

 

 

3. Select the desired watch to connect to. 

 

 

4. Verify that the code on the smart phone you want to connect matches the code on the watch, then select the Confirm.

 

 

5. Review the Set up your Galaxy Watch prompt, then select Set up for myself. Review the permissions prompt, then select Agree.

Note: If you are setting this device up for your child, select Setup for a child.

 

6. Review the account agreements, then select the desired circles. When finished, select Continue.

 

 

7. Select Continue to log into your Google account. Select Skip to continue without signing into your Google account.

 

Note: You will be prompted to enter your Google account password, then select Next. 

 

 

8. Review the Terms of service prompt, then select I agree.

 

9. Review the Automatic watch backup prompt, then select Next.

 

10. Review the Samsung Smart Switch prompt, then select the Allow or Deny as desired.

 

11. Review the Restore backup prompt. If you would like to set up the device using a backup, select the desired backup then select Restore. If you would like to set up without using a back up, select Set up as new watch.

 

12. Select Next to assign an app or feature to the Quick button. 

 

Note: Select Remind me later to proceed without setting up the Quick button.

 

 

13. Edit the wearing preferences as desired, then select Next.

 

14. Review the tutorial prompts as desired, then select Next.

 

15. To setup a mobile plan, select the Next and follow the prompts to complete setup. Select Skip to continue without setting up a mobile plan.

 

 

16. Set up is now complete. From your watch, select Start and follow the prompts to take a tour of your watch.

 

Note: After set up is complete, ensure that the software is up to date.
