Make & Receive a Call

Place, receive, and reject a call.
INSTRUCTIONS & INFO
  1. MAKE A PHONE CALL: From the home screen, select the Phone app. Dial the desired number, then select the Call icon.

    Note: To learn about calling or using your device in other countries, visit the AT&T International website.

    Step 1

  2. MAKE A CALL USING SPEED DIAL: Select and hold the desired speed dial number.

    Note: To call a speed dial contact with two digits, select the first digit then select and hold the second digit. To add a number to speed dial, from the phone app select the Menu icon > Settings > Speed dial settings > the number you wish to assign the contact to > desired contact. The number 1 is reserved for Voicemail.

  3. While a call is active, the Call icon will be displayed in the Notification bar.

  4. MAKE A CONFERENCE CALL: While on an active call, select Add call > enter the desired number or contact > Call icon > Merge.

  5. ANSWER OR DECLINE A CALL: Swipe the Call icon up to answer a call. Swipe the Call icon down to decline a call.

  6. REJECT A CALL WITH A TEXT MESSAGE: Select and drag Message icon up. Select the desired message or select Write your own... to compose your own message.

    Note: To create or edit text message replies, from the home screen select the Phone app > Menu icon > Settings > Quick responses > desired message to edit.
