Clear the app cache, force stop an app, check for updates, remove an app, and reinstall an app.

App Troubleshooting

  1. CLEAR APP CACHE: Swipe down from the Notification bar, then select the Settings icon > scroll to and select Apps > select desired app > Storage > Clear cache.

  2. FORCE STOP AN APP: From the App info screen, select Force stop. Select Force stop to confirm.

  3. CHECK FOR APP UPDATE: From the home screen, select the Play Store app > Menu icon > My apps & games > UPDATE or UPDATE ALL.

  4. REMOVE AN APP: Select UNINSTALL. Select OK to confirm.

  5. REINSTALL AN APP: Select INSTALL.
