How to set up your device as a mobile hotspot to share your data connection with Wi-Fi-capable devices.
INSTRUCTIONS & INFO
- Use your AT&T Nokia Lumia 1020 as a mobile hotspot to share your data connection with Wi-Fi-capable devices such as: other smartphones, tablets, netbooks, MP3 players, and more.
Note: Eligible data plan required, learn more.
- To turn on mobile hotspot, from the Start screen, swipe left.
- Scroll to, then tap Settings.
- Scroll to, then tap internet sharing.
- Tap the Sharing switch to turn internet sharing on or off.
- When Mobile hotspot is on, the Mobile hotspot icon will display in the notification bar.
- The number of guests connected will be displayed under the Guests connected field.
- To change the Broadcast name, tap the Edit icon.
- Tap the Broadcast name field.
- Edit the Broadcast name, then tap the Check icon.
- To change the Password, tap the Edit icon.
- Tap the Password field.
- Edit the password as desired, then tap the Check icon.
