1. Ensure that the device battery is charged to completion during its initial charging phase to prolong battery life.
   
2. To access power saving mode, from the home screen, press the Right Soft key.
   
3. Select Settings, then press the Center Nav key.
   
4. Select Display Settings, then press the Center Nav key.
   
5. Select Power Saving Mode, then press the Center Nav key to enable or disable the feature.
   
6. Disable Bluetooth when it isn't in use.
   
7. Disable GPS when it isn't in use.
   
8. Lower screen brightness to prolong battery life.
   
9. Select Backlight, then press the Center Nav key.
   
10. Press the End key to return to the home screen.
