Backup, Sync & Transfer Content (iTunes)

  2. On your computer, open iTunes.

  3. To set up Wi-Fi syncing, connect your iPad to your computer with the included USB cable. Click the Device button in the upper left corner.
    Note: If you are viewing the iTunes Store, click the Library button in the upper right corner. The device button will then be visible.

  4. In the Summary tab, select Sync with this iPad over Wi-Fi.

  5. Whenever the computer and the iPad are on the same network, the iPad will appear in iTunes, and you can sync it. The iPad will sync automatically when all of the following are true: The iPad is plugged in to power, iTunes is open on the computer, The iPad and the computer are on the same Wi-Fi network.

  6. While the iPad appears in the upper left corner of iTunes, you can select the Content tabs and configure sync options.

  7. Click Apply or Sync to sync the iPad.
