1. From the home screen, press the Right Soft key.
   
2. Scroll to the Settings icon, then press the Center Nav key.
   
3. Scroll to Phone, then press the Left soft key.
   Note: Alternatively, press '4' on the keypad.
   
4. Scroll to Airplane mode, then press the Left soft key.
   Note: Alternatively, press '7' on the keypad.
   
5. To enable, scroll to On, then press the Center Nav key.
   
6. When Airplane mode is turned on, the Airplane mode icon will be displayed in the Notification bar.
   
7. To turn off, scroll to Off, then press the Center Nav key.
