1. From the home screen, press the Right Soft key.
   
2. Scroll to Settings, then press the Center Nav key.
   
3. On Display Settings, press the Center Nav key.
   
4. Scroll to Backlight, then press the Center Nav key.
   
5. Scroll to Screen Light Timer, then press the Center Nav key.
   
6. Scroll to the desired option, then press the Center Nav key.
