1. From the home screen, swipe down from the Notification bar.
   
2. Tap the Settings icon.
   
3. Under the 'Display' tab, tap Lock screen.
   
4. Tap Select screen lock.
   
5. Tap the desired option.
   Note: For this demonstration, tap 'Pattern'.
   
6. Tap Next.
   
7. Draw the desired unlock pattern, then tap Next.
   
8. Re-draw the chosen pattern, then tap Confirm.
   
9. Tap Next.
   
10. Enter the desired backup PIN, then tap Next.
    
11. Re-enter the chosen PIN, then tap OK.
    
12. Select the desired option, then tap OK.
    
13. To unlock your device, draw the selected pattern at the lock screen.
    
14. To change the screen lock type, from the Lock screen page, tap Select screen lock.
    
15. Draw the current unlock pattern.
    
16. Tap the desired screen lock type, then follow on-screen prompts to set up.
