1. From the home screen, swipe down from the Notification bar.
   
2. Tap the Settings icon.
   
3. Under the 'General' tab, scroll to then tap About phone.
   
4. Tap Software info.
   
5. The Android & Baseband firmware version will be displayed.
   
6. To check for software updates, from the 'About phone' menu, tap Update Center.
   
7. Tap Software Update.
   
8. Tap Update now.
   
9. If updates are available, follow on-screen prompts to download and install. Otherwise, tap OK.
