1. From any screen, press and hold the Home key.
   
2. Swipe your finger up to Google, then release.
   
3. If prompted, tap SKIP.

4. To perform a text search, enter the desired search terms in the Search field.
   
5. Tap the Search icon to search.
   
6. Tap the X icon to clear the search field.
   
7. To perform a voice search, tap the Microphone icon, or speak the phrase 'OK Google'.
   
8. Speak the desired search terms.
   
9. To access Google search settings, swipe down from the Notification bar.
   
10. Tap the Settings icon.
    
11. Under the 'General' tab, tap Accounts & sync.
    
12. Tap Google.
    
13. Tap Search.
    
14. Edit settings as desired.
