1. From the home screen, tap Camera.
   Note: You can also access the camera via the lock screen by swiping the Camera icon or by pressing and holding the Action Key.
   
2. To change shooting modes, tap Mode.
   
3. To switch between the front and rear camera, tap the Switch icon.
   
4. To take a picture, tap the Camera icon.
   
5. To take a video, tap the Camcorder icon. Recording starts immediately.
   
6. To take a photo while recording, tap the Camera icon.
   
7. To pause the recording, tap the Pause icon.
   
8. Tap the Record icon to resume recording.
   
9. Tap the Stop icon to stop and save the recording.
   
10. Tap the Gallery icon to view saved pictures and videos.
    Note: To edit a photo, tap the Gallery icon > Edit icon > Make the desired edits > Save icon.
    
11. The Galaxy S4 Active rear camera is 8 MP and the front camera is 2 MP. The video recorder is 1080p.
    Note: To take a screen shot, press and hold the Home and Power buttons at the same time until you hear the camera shutter sound and a short flashing animation. To view captured screen shots tap the Gallery or Photos app.
