1. Use your AT&T device as a Mobile Wi-Fi hotspot to share your data connection with Wi-Fi-capable devices such as: other smartphones, tablets, netbooks, MP3 players, and more.

  2. From the home screen, drag down from the Notification bar.

  3. Tap the Settings icon.

  6. Tap the Portable Wi-Fi hotspot toggle to turn on/off.

  7. When Mobile Hotspot is active, the Hotspot icon will display in the Notification bar.

  8. To configure the hotspot, tap Set up Wi-Fi hotspot.

  9. Adjust the Network name, Security, and Password as desired, then tap Save.

  10. To turn the Mobile Hotspot off, tap the Portable Wi-Fi Hotspot toggle.
