1. To open the camera, from the Start screen tap the Camera tile.
   Note: From the lock screen, swipe down from the top of the screen to quickly access the camera to take video or pictures.
   
2. Swipe up from the bottom of the screen to access camera options.
   
3. To switch between the front- and rear-facing cameras, tap Change camera.
   
4. Tap the Camera icon to take a picture.
   
5. Tap the Camcorder icon to start recording a video.
   
6. Tap the Camera icon to take a still while recording a video.
   
7. Tap the Stop icon to stop recording.
   
8. Swipe right to quickly access the Camera roll.
   Note: Alternatively, swipe up from the bottom of the screen, then tap Camera roll.
   
9. To take a panoramic picture, tap the Panorama icon.
   
10. Tap Anywhere to start.
    
11. Tilt the device slowly to take your panorama.
    
12. When you are finished, tap the Check icon to complete.
    Note: This device has a 8MP Auto focus Rear-facing camera and a 3.5MP Fixed focus Front-facing camera. The video recorder is 1080p. To take a screenshot on the Surface 3, press and hold the Windows button and then pressing the Volume down button. The screen dims for a second as the image is captured. The image is saved in the Screenshots folder of the Pictures library.
